She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration from St. Joseph's College in 1990 and a law degree from City University of New York at Queens College in 1995. She is particularly knowledgeable in the areas of health regulatory and licensing agencies and in the accreditation of healthcare organizations.
